dr. S. Castaldi (Sarah)

Sarah Castaldi is Assistant Professor of Strategic Management at the Chair of Strategy at Nijmegen School of Management, Radboud University. Previously she worked at Copenhagen Business School (CBS). She completed her PhD on "Essays on global business networks, governance, and institutions", with focus on the role of MNEs in sustainable global supply chains, at the University of Groningen.

Her general research interests include the field of international business and strategy, using qualitative and quantitative data analysis methods. More specifically, she is interested in institutional, socio-political embeddedness of organizations along global value chains, the role of MNEs in cross-border transfer and governance of (sustainability) practices within and across firms, and emerging economy multinational enterprises (EMNE) strategy and performance. Her wok has been published in several journals including Global Strategy Journal and Journal of Business Ethics.

Throughout her career Sarah has been involved in a wide array of teaching activities – from large bachelor level courses to MSc level education. The modules that she has taught cover a wide array of topics from general Global Strategy and International Business courses, to more specialized modules in Sustainable Business and Global Value Chains, as well as Cross-Cultural Management, Comparative Institutional Analysis.
