Dr. Aline Dantas is Postdoctoral researcher at Maastricht University and Donders Institute in Nijmegen. Her current work explores the gut-brain axis' influence in human decision-making. This research line is funded by The Dutch Research Council (NWO).

Aline is a PhD in Human Decision and Policy Design, with a doctorate from Marketing and Cognitive Neuroscience at Maastricht University. Her background includes neuroeconomics, neuroscience, decision neuroscience and marketing. Aline has also extensive experience in product marketing of major corporations such as Nike and Adidas, always focused in consumer behavior. Later, she dedicated herself to a successful academic career researching decision neuroscience with topics including decision making under risk, intertemporal choices, noninvasive brain stimulation, neuroimaging and the gut-brain axis.
