I was born in Naples, Italy, where I completed a Bachelor’s degree at Classics at University Federico II (2019). I then studied in Bologna, where I achieved an MA in Classical Philology (Alma Mater Studiorum, 2023). During my studies, I spent time abroad in the UK, at University College London (Erasmus + Student) and at Oxford’s Sackler Library (Thesis Scholarship Award, FICLIT).
I am now a PhD candidate in Greek Language and Culture at Radboud University, within the Dutch Research Agenda Anchoring Innovation. My project focusses on Greek lyric poetry from the late fifth - early fourth century BCE and on the way it was received as innovative from the philosophical tradition.
More broadly, my research interests concern intersections and overlaps of forms and themes in Ancient Greece's philosophical and lyric traditions.
