dr. M.D.A. Ferreyra Wachholtz (Matias)

Matías is a Marie Curie Postdoctoral Researcher at the Nijmegen School of Management, Public Administration department. He currently conducts research on models of interoperability in UN peace operations. Prior to this, he was a visiting researcher at Texas State University, Department of Political Science. In August 2022, as the author, he was awarded the ‘Best Doctorate Dissertation Award’ by the Brazilian Association of Defense Studies (ABED). He completed his doctoral studies in the Graduate Program in International Relations ‘San Tiago Dantas’, Brazil, in November 2021. Previously, he was a guest researcher at the Department of Organization Studies, Tilburg University (The Netherlands) (2019-2020). He holds a master’s degree in Strategic Studies, Fluminense Federal University, Brazil (2015-2017), and a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from the National University of Rosario, Argentina (2014).
