dr. S.J. Forkel (Stephanie)

Stephanie is a group leader (@CNSeminars) and the Theme Leader for Language and Communication (Theme 1) across the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour, Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics, and the Centre for Language Studies (CLS) at Radboud University.

In 2020, she became a Visiting Professor at TUM Munich and Associate Professor at King’s College London. She is on the editorial board at Cortex and BSAF and currently editing a Special Issues on Language Systems.

Recently, she co-founded an NGO (neurosciencealliance.org) that liaises with clinicians and academics from low to middle-income countries to improve equitable access to research.
