My research activities share the common focus on understanding the complex interaction between individual and contextual factors in relation to safety, health, and wellbeing.

The key streams in my research are leadership (i.e., leader behaviour and mindsets), and work design (i.e., unusual aspects of work design, automation), and traffic psychology (i.e., car driver and cyclists’ interactions). I am interested in these aspects' implications for behaviour, safety, health, and wellbeing.
