My research aims to elucidate the molecular mechanisms underlying heat stress-induced defects in tomato anther development. To achieve this goal, I am employing single-cell RNA sequencing to investigate cellular heterogeneity and gene expression patterns at unprecedented resolution. By dissecting the transcriptional landscape of anther cells, we aim to identify key regulatory genes and pathways that are disrupted by heat stress, ultimately leading to pollen sterility.
