I am a Roman archaeologist specializing in the socio-economic history and archaeology of urban communities in the Roman World, with a focus on Roman Italy and the Western provinces. My primary interest lies in the urban economy, particularly in material dimensions of food supply and distribution, as well as the various actors involved in these processes.
In my current research I explore the identity and experiences of local communities in urban development within the Roman Western Mediterranean, with a particular focus on the Middle Tiber Valley (Central Italy).
