Hi! I’m Aran van Hout, a PhD student working with Janneke Jehee. My research focuses on understanding how the brain interprets uncertain visual information. Although we tend to trust our eyes, the signals they send are often noisy and incomplete. I study how the brain uses these signals to make accurate visual decisions, using tools like neuroimaging (fMRI), computational modeling, and visual psychophysics.
