The overall theme of my research is to understand the star formation histories and chemical enrichment of nearby galaxies, with a particular focus on stellar clusters. My research is primarily observational in nature, and relies on data from major international research facilities such as the Hubble Space Telescope, the ESO Very Large Telescope, the Keck Telescopes, and the William Herschel Telescope. I am also engaged in preparing for science with the next generation facilities, such as the ESO Extremely Large Telescope and the Euclid mission.
