In my PhD project we are interested in how people learn from each other when interacting with people from different social groups. More specifically, we aim to examine the interplay between reinforcement learning and prejudice. We focus on questions such as: How does prejudice influence reinforcement learning? And how does reinforcement learning in turn affect prejudice? Understanding this interplay well may potentially lead to ideas for prejudice reduction interventions.

My research is embedded in the Radboud Social Cognition Lab and the Behaviour Regulation & Change Lab.
