My main topic of research is efficient communication. I investigate how language users save effort when using language, and how their choices affect grammar and lexicon in the long run. I enjoy working with large corpora in different languages and have extensive expertise in data analysis with R and Python, including machine learning, frequentist and Bayesian Generalised Linear Mixed Models and data visualisation.
