dr. A.M. Liesenfeld (Andreas)

Andreas Liesenfeld researches the social and societal implications of emerging language technologies. His current research focuses on technology assessment, explainable AI, diversity and fairness, as well as platform regulation, information ecosystems, and European AI strategy.

At the Centre for Language Studies (CLS), Andreas Liesenfeld is a member of the "Elementary Particles of Conversation" research project and, in collaboration with the Netherlands eScience center, develops scientific research software for computational linguistics and natural language processing.
