I am an assistant professor at the Institute for Science in Society specialising in philosophy and ethics of (life and social) science and science-based policy advice. I am also guest researcher at the Centre for Ethics and Law in the Life Science (CELLS) at Leibniz University Hannover (Germany) and associate at the Centre for Philosophy of Epidemiology, Medicine, and Public Health (CPEMPH), University of Johannesburg (South Africa) & Durham University (UK).

My current research focuses on ethical and epistemic pluralism in science-informed policy and on questions at the intersection of philosophy, ethics & social studies of biomedicine (esp. precision medicine and animal experimentation). I am also thinking about how best to advance the research programme of a comparative philosophy of science.
