dr. F. Maij (Femke)

Femke Maij is Managing Director of the Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition, and Behaviour since February 2020. As such she is responsible for the running of the institute as a whole together with the Scientific Director of the Institute. Her tasks involve the institute's strategy, finances and policy.

Femke obtained her PhD degree at the VU university in 2011 on the topic visual perception during motion. After her two postdoc projects, one at the University in Birmingham on a Rubicon grant and one at the Radboud University on a Veni grant, she became the graduate School Coordinator of the Donders Institute in 2017 and Managing director of the Donders Institute in 2020.
