Maarten Mennes is a clinical child psychologist with a strong background in applied neuroimaging techniques. He has extensive experience with event-related potentials, task-based and resting state FMRI analyses. In addition, he helped ignite a movement towards open-access sharing of neuroimaging datasets through the International Neuroimaging Datasharing Initiative (http://fcon_1000.projects.nitrc.org). His current work focuses on methodological advances in (resting state) FMRI analyses, and the application of resting state FMRI in child psychiatric disorders including ADHD and autism. Maarten Mennes is a member of the Organization for Human Brain Mapping, and an active member of the Neuro Bureau.
