Hoogleraar - Donders Institute for Brain, Cognition and Behaviour
Resmas directeur - OLC Cognitive Neuroscience (researchmaster)
Emeritus professor Ruud Meulenbroek researched the neurocognitive basis of complex movements such as reaching, grasping, drawing and handwriting. He developed simulation models of the planning, execution and coordination of purposeful movements, which have their application in robotics. Professor Meulenbroek also carried out research into the coordination involved when people carry out tasks together and into the underlying causes of RSI. Between 2013 and 2020 he was the Director of the School of Psychology and Artificial Intelligence at the Radboud University. Between 2006-2013 and in 2023-24 he was director of the Cognitive Neuroscience researchmaster programme of the Donders Graduate School at the Radboud University.
