I am an external PhD candidate at Radboud University. My area of expertise is in New Testament studies, early Christian literature, and ethnic equality and inequality in early Christian literature and communities. My particular focus is on Phrygians and early Christian depictions, stereotypes, and tropes that did or did not reflect the equality often ascribed to the early Christian communities as a key and culturally defining characteristic. This study is set within a larger funded project "Ethnicity and (In)Equality in Early Christianity" (EIEC) led by Dr. Matthijs den Dulk.
