I am investigating the architecture of tomato centromeres in terms of transposable elements and repeat regions. Additionally, I am interested in the evolution and regulation of parthenogenesis in apomictic species like dandelion (Taraxacum officinale) and how these differ in the sexual individuals of the species. Lately, I have also been involved in the genome assembly of different dandelion species.
