dr. J.E. Schleu (Joyce)

Dr. Joyce Elena Schleu is an Assistant Professor of Work and Organizational Psychology at Radboud University in Nijmegen, the Netherlands. She studied (Personnel and Business) Psychology at the Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf and the University of Münster in Germany. Dr. Schleu did her Doctorate on performance-based selection of leaders at TU Dortmund University, Germany. Her research centers around leadership and teams at work, aiming to understand how to motivate teams and realize high performance and how to lead employees supporting their well-being. She supports open science practices and contributes to big team science projects. She currently serves as an Associate Editor for the Group and Organization Management Journal.

The results of her research are published in international outlets including Journal of Business and Psychology, Journal of Leadership & Organizational Studies, Human Resource Management Review, European Journal of Work and Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, and Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. She has been a visiting researcher at Ivey Business School in London, Canada.
