Computational approaches can excavate hidden meaning encoded in the biological data. I use extensive bioinformatics and computational systems biology approaches to explore biological systems and extract information about their working principle. In this regard, I analyze single-cell/nuclei RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, ChIp-seq, bulk RNA-seq (NGS); microarray data and constraint based metabolic models using flux balance analysis specially for the plant systems. I have interests in exploring the remarkable ability of plant roots that can proliferate, respond under stress and interact with microbiome under diverse environmental conditions. Additionally, roots can regenerate even after removal of root cap, including stem cell niche. These abilities of plant roots made me interested in using high-resolution data to mine deeper at the molecular level, analyze to gain comprehensive bioprocesses’ insight and knowledge transfer. On the other hand, metabolic models provide a system to analyze metabolic flexibilities under certain conditions. I use programming languages R and Python (e.g., Seurat, Monocle, CobraPy, etc.) in my research.
