Dr Sarah Thin is an Assistant Professor in International and European Law at the Department of International and European Law. She is a member of the Research Centre for State and Law (SteR).
Dr Thin specialises in public international law, in particular state responsibility, international environmental law, human rights, and the law of international courts and tribunals, and has published extensively in these areas. She completed her PhD at Maastricht University in October 2022, and holds an LLB from the University of Durham (UK) and an LLM from the University of Nottingham (UK).
She is currently the Managing Editor of the Hague Yearbook of International Law; Co-coordinator of the European Society of International Law Interest Group on International Courts and Tribunals; and Reporter for the Oxford Reports on International Law (International Human Rights Law).
