My area of research are theories of cultural evolution, as well as their relation to evolutionary biology. I am interested in how these cultural evolutionary theories conceptualise culture, society and social causation, and in the implications of these ways of conceptualising. In this way, my research is at the intersection of social philosophy and philosophy of biology. My interests also include cooperation and its evolution, institutions, the nature of collective agents, research ethics and philosophy of food.
