S. Wiedmann is an expert in the area of the electronic and thermodynamic properties of condensed matter with a focus on quantum materials in which topology and/or electronic correlations play a dominant role. He is actively involved in the development of novel experimental techniques and approaches to investigate and understand the underlying physical phenomena and functionalities derived from the confluence of many-body interactions and topological protection.
