X. Zhang (Xinyu) MA

The prescribed pronunciation for my name is /ɕin˥˥.ɥy˨˩˦/ (the /ɥ/ is added to prevent the insertion of a glottal stop), but I welcome and am interested in all phonological adaptations

My research interest lies mainly in phonetics. For my PhD project, I look at both typical and clinical populations to study how speech production and speech perception affect each other, in terms of motor control, acoustics, and shared mental representations.
