dr. I. Zioga (Ioanna)

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the DCCN under the Language in Interaction project, co-mentored by Andrea E. Martin and Saskia Haegens (https://www.languageininteraction.nl/BigQuestion5.html). I'm using MEG to study whether the low-level function of alpha and beta oscillations is generalized to higher-level cognitive processes, particularly language comprehension.

Previously I completed my postdoc at Queen Mary University of London with Caroline Di Bernardi Luft investigating brain-to-brain synchronization during EEG hyperscanning. My PhD research at Queen Mary focused on the neural correlates of learning and creativity in the domains of language and music.
