Further support

In addition to regular or work-related support you may require other kinds of advice or support during your PhD project. If so, you can turn to the following persons:

Every faculty or institute has several HR-officers/-advisors, whom you can consult with questions regarding your appointment, career, development and training and various other questions related to your contractual obligations and rights.

PhD candidate coordinator/ PhD candidate dean
Several faculties or institutes have a coordinator or dean for all PhD candidate-related affairs. The coordinator or dean acts as the go-to person for PhD candidates and in some cases conducts initial and progress interviews. To find out who have been appointed as PhD candidate coordinators or deans visit your faculty website.

Coaching and career counselling
If things are not going well in your PhD project or if you feel you need some external advice (for instance regarding your career), you can contact the university's Staff Development Team.
