Jutta Joachim, Associate Professor in Global Governance, offers a critical evaluation of feminist foreign policy in the Clingendael Spectator. She argues that “feminist foreign policy has moved gender equality not only further up on the agenda, but also resulted in more resources being devoted to the subject”.

On 6 July, Nikki-Rie van der Meer received the first Thomas Eimer Thesis Prize for her master's thesis "Explaining the international resistance movement of the Q'eros from Peru against encroaching tourism".

The award ceremony will take place during the Opening of the Academic Year on Monday 5 September from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in De Vereeniging.
