COVID-19
During the present time of the COVID-19 crisis we understand it can be difficult to keep yourself informed about the current state of affairs. Below you can find some websites regarding the situation in the Netherlands and worldwide that might help you find the information you are looking for.
RIVM
The National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) has been promoting public health and safeguarding a healthy environment for more than 100 years. The RIVM has a central role in infectious disease control and national prevention and population screening programmes. They conduct independent (scientific) research in the field of Public Health, Health Services, Environmental Safety and Security. In their role as trusted advisor, they support citizens, professionals and governments in the challenge of keeping the environment and ourselves healthy.
In the event of a nation-wide outbreak of infectious disease in the Netherlands, RIVM coordinates efforts to control the disease. This is also the case in the current outbreak of the novel coronavirus. RIVM is working closely with experts and representatives from various organisations.
Government of the Netherlands
Together, we’ll get coronavirus under control in the Netherlands. On this website you can find information about what the Dutch government – together with other organisations – is doing.
European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control
The COVID-19 pandemic is rapidly evolving, and outbreak investigations are ongoing. ECDC is closely monitoring this outbreak, providing risk assessments, public health guidance, and advice on response activities to EU Member States and the EU Commission.
World Health Organisation
WHO, as the directing and coordinating authority on international health within the United Nations system, adheres to the UN values of integrity, professionalism and respect for diversity. Stay aware of the latest information on the COVID-19 outbreak available on the WHO website.
