Programme and Learning Outcomes

The courses of the Master's degree programme in Linguistics are taught in English and that also applies to the Dutch Linguistics programme. The only course taught in Dutch will be Nederlands als tweede taal (NT2) ('Dutch as a second language'). There are many courses that are relevant to the field of Dutch linguistics. The following ones are especially recommended for students with an interest in this field:

  • Early language perception and production
  • Psycholinguistics
  • Languages and society: variation and diversity

In all these courses, the assignments may be made and exams may be taken in Dutch, and aspects relating to Dutch will be addressed in class.

This program gives access to the educational master 'Nederlands':
