Master Specialisation Cyber Security - General introduction
The Master specialisation Cyber Security covers a broad range of topics that is important for computer security. This includes topics in computer science (software, computer networks, and hardware, especially smart-cards and RFID), but also mathematical aspects (cryptography and security protocols), as well as organizational and management issues, legal aspects, and societal issues (in particular privacy).
This Master specialisation (a successor of the earlier Kerckhoff's master) is offered in a collaboration with the Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) under the name of TRU/e Master in Cyber Security. It involves taking some courses at the TU/e. Courses which are not offered by remote tele-lectures are always scheduled back-to-back to minimize travel time.
