Programme of Chemistry for Life
For the Master of Science in Molecular Life Sciences the complete 120 EC programme is:
A. A specialisation related component comprising:
- compulsory specialisation courses: 15 EC
- a specialisation related research internship chosen from the list 'departments for internships' elsewhere in this prospectus: 45 EC
which includes:
- practical work, thesis, presentation: 36 EC
- literature thesis: 6 EC
- elective course with biomedical or molecular component: 3 EC
B. A second research internship freely chosen from the list 'departments for inetrenships' elsewhere in this prospectus: 44 EC
which includes:
- Practical work, thesis, presentation: 35 EC
- Literature thesis: 6 EC
- Elective course with biomedical or molecular component: 3 EC
This second intership may be done outside the university (company, research institute or abroad). If approved by the Examination Board, both interships may be taken elswhere. Supervision of both interships must be provided by two different departments, unless the second intership is taken at another university or institute;
C. Career orientation (1 EC) - For new master students starting in 2016-2017
D. Scientific master courses: 6 EC (of proven academic level and approved by the Examination Board)
E. Free electives: 6 EC
