Exemptions and Substitutions
A student who thinks he/she qualifies for exemption of one or more subjects, has to submit a formal written request of exemption to the Examination Board. In this request, the grounds on which one expects to receive the exemption have to be indicated. The written request has to be accompanied by:
- prove of having passed the subject presented for exemption;
- the course description from the study guide of the university or college of the subject concerned.
When one wants to substitute a fixed part of the program by another part, a written request, describing the reasons for the substitution, has to be submitted to the Examination Board. This substitution has to be awarded before the first interim examination of the part of the original programme. Contact information of the Examination Board can be found under the heading Examination Board in chapter 1.
