Job Market Orientation

During the Master's Programme, students are encouraged to conduct applied research which increases their chances on the labour market.

For the specialty in Cultural Anthropology, this research goes into issues emerging from cultural diversity in the Netherlands.

The specialty of Development Studies encourages students to do research that makes them eligible for the market of development organisations. In addition, students in Development Studies qualify to participate in the Postgraduate programme AMID. This programme combines working at a development agency or a Ministry with complementary professional training on an academic level. This one-year programme is unique and only exists in Nijmegen! See for more information in this Study Guide in chapter 4.
