The programme of the Master's specialisation in Microbiology consists of:

One thesis of 6 EC can be replaced by Field Course Alpine Ecology (NWI-BM040B) or Field Course Ireland (NWI-BM048B)
- 72 EC Research internships(2x 36 EC)
- 18 EC free space for optional courses or extension of internships (6 EC max.)
