Course Enrolment

For Behavioural Science (BS) students

BS students will have to enrol for all the courses they want to follow (also the obligatory courses). You can do this from your student portal. NOTE: enrolment for a course automatically registers you for its exam. Not taking the exam will then be registered as such in OSIRIS.

For external students

The Behavioural Science Research Master is a selective master and the courses are only open for other students if you meet the criteria below and if the maximum number of students has not be reached. BS students have priority and for the others it is; ‘first comes, first served'.

You might be able to attend a course if you are a:

1. Research master or international exchange master student with average (or above average) grades, a strong motivation, some research experience and proficiency in English.
Send a request by email to rm@bsi.ru.nl including  your name, CV,  a list of course grades (BSc and MSc) and your motivation to follow the specific course(s), at least 2 weeks before the start of the course.

2. BSI PhD student
Send a request by email to rm@bsi.ru.nl or with your name, u-number, coursename, at least 2 weeks before the start of the course.

3. Other PhD student from the Radboud University or related institute

If you are interested in a non-statistics course:
Send a request by email to rm@bsi.ru.nl with your name, u-number, coursename and short motivation to follow the course at least 2 weeks before the start of the course. After permission you can enrol through https://www.ru.nl/fsw/onderwijs/overig/aanschuifonderwijs/onderwijs-overzicht/registration-form-phd-candidates/

If you are interested in a statistics course:
Due to the popularity of our Statistics courses  (Multivariate, Analyzing in R, Mixed-Effects Models and Structural Equation Modeling), we do not have the capacity to grade all the coursework of PhD students. However you are welcome to follow the lectures, get access to Blackboard, come to the lab sessions (unless there is not enough space) and you can participate in the self-grading of the homework assignments, and take-home exam but none of this will be graded. Also no certificate will be provided.
Send a request by email to rm@bsi.ru.nl with your name, u-number, coursename and short motivation to follow the course at least 2 weeks before the start of the course.

Please follow these guidelines above and do not contact the lecturers directly. Access to the course can only be arranged by emailing; rm@bsi.ru.nl.
