List of MMD courses
An overview of the components of the programme is given below. The study load is expressed in European Credits (EC). One EC equals 28 hours of study.
The total programme must add up to at least 120 EC. All courses are graded.
Participation in all fundamental theory lectures, technical discussions, demonstrations, enquiry-based science projects and communication/scientific skills is compulsory. The course coordinator will register your participation. Students who expect to be absent should inform the course coordinator in advance. If this absence is legitimate, the course coordinator may ask them to compensate by carrying out an additional assignment. Students who are absent from classes and workgroups without good reason risk being denied the opportunity to take the test.
Participation to theory lectures is not compulsory for students who retake the course.

**Literature thesis (6.0 EC) is an independent elective component.
#Electives need to be at least 17.0 EC in combination with MED-MMP2A or 11.0 EC in combination with MED-MMP2B. A maximum of 6.0 EC of electives can be used to fill deficiencies at bachelor’s level. All other elective courses must be of master’s or PhD level.
3.0 EC may be used for knowledge transfer (MED-MMKT).
