English B1 course - Cambridge Preliminary
If you already have a basic level of English (A2), you can have a simple conversation about everyday matters and understand simple English texts on familiar topics. Would you like to expand your English vocabulary and grammar, so that you can pick up more details from conversations and texts and write simple texts yourself? If so, this English course for intermediate students (B1) is what you're looking for.
You will develop the basic language skills (reading, listening, writing, and speaking) you need to communicate more confidently in English.
After this course:
- you will have a command of English at B1 level;
- you will be able to have a simple conversation about studies, work, or interests;
- you will be able to make polite requests, describe people and situations, and explain ideas and plans;
- you will be able to write simple texts about everyday topics.
Cambridge exam
At the end of the course you will not only have raised your English to a higher level, but you will also be prepared for the Cambridge Preliminary Exam (B1): you will know exactly what to expect during the exam and how best to tackle the assignments. You can take a Cambridge exam at one of the British Council examination centres in the Netherlands. If you pass the exam, you will receive a certificate that will enhance your CV on an international level. This certificate is recognised in almost all countries and remains valid throughout your life.
You can also take this course if you do not want to take the exam.
The exam costs are not included in the course price. You can register for an exam through The British Council.
