Preparing for the RADAr and remedial lectures

Preparing for the RADAr

Students can prepare for the RADAr using the digital toolbox in Brightspace. In the toolbox, students can view useful knowledge clips and learning materials, as well as exercises and references to other sources. There is also a demo test available in the toolbox that allows students to get an impression of the type of questions that the real test will contain.

After the RADAr: seminars for improving language proficiency

Students who score below the norm on the RADAr-English or RADAr-Dutch can follow three seminars in periods 2 and 3 to overcome deficiencies. Although these seminars are not compulsory, students are strongly advised to improve their reading, writing, and listening skills through these three seminars. After all, having good Dutch language proficiency is essential for successfully completing a Bachelor's programme.

The seminars are held online in groups of a maximum of 15 students. The seminars are provided by language teachers from Radboud in’to Languages.

Special programme for students with dyslexia
Extra coaching is available for students with dyslexia. Students who score below the norm the first time they sit the RADAr can apply for this extra guidance, which is provided by a dyslexia specialist from Radboud in’to Languages. Students must participate in the seminars in order to receive coaching.
