Mathilde Cecchini
Mathilde Cecchini holds a PhD in Political Science and is employed as an assistant professor at the Department of Political Science, Aarhus University in Denmark. Her main research interests are citizen-state interactions, frontline workers decision-making and discrimination and inequality in the street-level bureaucracy. Moreover, she also has an interest in methodological and ethical issues in research. She specializes in interpretive research methods including ethnography, interpretive interviewing, discourse analysis and narrative analysis. She has taught courses on qualitative and interpretive research methods at the BA, MA and PhD level including courses on political and organizational ethnography and fieldwork.
