Dr. Merel van der Wal

Dr. Merel van der Wal is an assistant professor at the Methods group of Business Administration at the Nijmegen School of Management. Her research focuses on how computer models and simulations work as learning tools in participatory decision making.

Currently, her research focuses on the concept of agency, participatory problem structuring and decision making methods. Thematic focuses include climate adaptation, natural resources and education. A broad interest, making connections across scientific boundaries, and a strong belief in the importance of learning and environmental issues drive her research.
