Benedict Wauters

Benedict Wauters has worked as consultant for Deloitte Consulting in Belgium, as well as Policy Research

Corporation in the Netherlands. He has also worked as a researcher for the European Commission’s DG Employment. He has also been a lecturer at the Rotterdam Business School, responsible for teaching topics like strategy, risk management and research methodology in the master’s and MBA programmes, and for chairing the school’s curriculum board. He has also lectured at the Haagse Hogeschool in The Hague on the topic of external risk management in the Master’s Programme on Risk Management, and has been responsible for the evaluation skills lab at Antwerp Management School for the Master’s Programme in Public Management. In addition, he led the EU-wide Community of Practice on results-based management as well as the EU network on Public Administration and Governance. Currently, he is the head of the EU programmes department in the ministry of work in Flanders (BE), where previously he was director  for innovation, impact evaluation, and methodology.
