​​Hauke Licht

​​Hauke Licht is a post-doctoral researcher at the Cologne Center for Comparative Politics, University of Cologne, and has received his Ph.D. from the University of Zurich.  He develops and applies text-as-data and deep learning methods to study the rhetorical dimensions of political competition and democratic representation. In this research, he frequently collects video, audio, and text data at scale by applying different web scraping techniques.​
