Jens Wäckerle

Jens Wäckerle is a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Comparative Politics, University of Cologne. He is currently working on the perception of minority governments among the public in the ERC project MinorityRule.

His research interests lie in the study of women’s representation, legislative politics, and the European Union. Methodologically, his work uses text-as-data methods, machine learning and survey experiments.

His work has been published in leading political science journals, such as the American Political Science Review, Political Analysis, Legislative Studies Quarterly, and the European Journal of Political Research. He holds a Masters degree from the University of Essex and a PhD from the University of Cologne.​
