Maria Kaufmann

PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the chairgroup of Environmental Governance and Politics and co-coordinator of the multi-disciplinary TransAct Hotspot at the Institute for Management Research, Radboud University.

Her research focuses on understanding sustainable transformations in the context of climate change (mainly energy transition and climate adaptation). She adopts a critical perspective and aims to understand the justice implications of these transformations and how to ensure a just transformation.

She conducted research on these topics in several international and national research consortia and shares these insights in Bachelor and Master courses in the department of Geography, Planning and Environment.
