RSS03.08 Getting started with R: An introduction to data analysis
In this “hands-on” interactive course participants are introduced to data analytics using the statistical program R. The interactive teaching and learning environment will help all participants to maximize their individual learning outcomes. The aim is to provide an accessible high-quality course for everyone (no prior knowledge of R required).
In this course, we will cover the following key topics:
- Installing R and R studio,
- importing data from various file formats (e.g., csv, text files, Stata),
- cleaning and merging data,
- visualising and reporting data,
- and basic regressions.
All these topics are accompanied by various practical examples, engaging exercises, and interesting discussions. At the end of this course, all participants will be able to work independently with R and perform basic data analysis on their own. Successful completion of this course could be the next step in your professional career, preparation for further studies, or a new exciting chapter in your life.
