Dr. Judith Rasmussen-Dietvorst
Judith Rasmussen-Dietvorst received her PhD at the University of Leiden in 2006 for a thesis on the development of stress-tolerant industrial yeast strains for High-Gravity Brewing.
After a post-doctoral period with Professor Morten Kielland-Brandt in the Cell Biology group at the Calsberg Laboratory in Copenhagen, she continued working in Copenhagen with Nils Jakob Vest Hansen, CEO of the small molecule drug discovery company Vipergen where she developed the unique Binder Trap Enrichment (BTE) method for the screening of DNA encoded chemical libraries (DEL).
In 2015, she came back to the Netherlands and joined Pivot Park Screening Centre (PPSC) in Oss and was active in teaching Molecular Biology and Biotechnology courses at the HAN University of Applied Sciences in Nijmegen.
In her current role as Director Assay Development she is involved in cellular and biochemical assay development, ultra-High Throughput Screening (uHTS) and hit-to-lead biological compound profiling within a wide range of commercial, academic and public-private partnership projects including the European Lead Factory (ELF).
