Yiran Yang

Yiran Yang is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Geography, Planning and Environment and iHub at Radboud University. She is also a researcher at Radboud University Network on Migration Inclusion (RUNOMI). Yiran finished her Master in Education at the University of Edinburgh (2012-2013, in the UK).

After working for several years, she had her PhD at Leiden University (2018-2023, in the Netherlands), focusing on ethnic prejudice and the context of interethnic socialization of migrant families in the Netherlands. Her current research focus is on potential discrimination risks in artificial intelligence in the context of migration.
