Visa

Nationality and purpose of stay

Whether you need a visa depends on your nationality. Different rules apply to those registering for a degree course after Summer School.

You stay less than 90 days

You plan on attending Radboud Summer School and returning home within 90 days of arrival.
  • If you are a resident of the EU/EEA, you do not need a visa to enter the Netherlands. The same applies to some 40 additional nationalities.
  • If you do need a visa, you will have to apply for one yourself. Please check with the Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service in advance for detailed information about visa requirements.

You enrol in a study degree programme at Radboud University after the Radboud Summer School

You are enrolled in a Radboud degree programme that starts immediately after the Summer School. If you intend on staying in the Netherlands to attend a regular degree programme at Radboud University, different visa rules will apply. Please follow the instructions provided to you by the Radboud International when enrolling in a degree programme.

You are enrolled at another Dutch university after the Radboud Summer School

You are enrolled in a degree programme at another Dutch university that starts immediately after the Summer School. If you intend on staying in the Netherlands to attend a regular degree programme at another Dutch university, different visa rules will apply. Please follow the instructions provided to you by the other Dutch university when enrolling in the degree programme.
