In contrast with other leading research funders, FP7 is largely silent on the matter of access to research data. This is changing within Horizon 2020. You may wish to consult section 4 of the reporting requirements governing the use and dissemination of information.

Note: In the following table the requirements of FP7 are mapped with particular questions in the Radboud University format for a data management plan.

Help in meeting the costs for publication is available. For all FP7 projects, open access fees incurred in the course of the project may be reimbursable. There is no particular statement about costs for storing data.

Archiving data

All files and documents must be kept for up to five years after the end of the project for auditing purposes.

Sharing & accessing data

There is no statement on data sharing, although open access to publications is strongly promoted in FP7.
